LUÍS AFONSO GONÇALVES

Graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of Lisbon, I have been an architect since 2019, during which time I have worked as an architect at AACG, in Lisbon.

​

 

From an early age, my vocation for the arts and for disciplines related to image has been evident. I believe my “ikigai” lies in everything that involves image, colors, contrasts, proportions, balances, and imbalances. Architecture emerged as an art that allows me to unite all these passions.

​

 

3D rendering and visualization have been a fundamental part of my professional journey. Besides bringing me great pleasure and satisfaction, I see them as valuable tools that can add a significant differential to any studio, setting it apart from the competition.

​

 

For me, architecture is a practice that aims to provide physical and psychological well-being to its users. Thus, I strive to maintain a continuous critical outlook on the world around me, cultivating the ability to put myself in others’ position and adopting a mindset of constant learning.

​

 

In addition to architecture, I have played an important role in managing a restaurant, Belém 2 a 8, being responsible for various areas, including administration, marketing, reservations, social media, booking platforms, creation of gastronomic and wine menus, as well as stock organization. I consider this experience fundamental to my personal and professional development, as it has given me a greater sense of responsibility, team management skills, and improved process organization.
